I made a batch of soap- it was HP, and forgot to color it. Ended up plain and blah. Just rebatched it and thought I'd REALLY screwed it up this time- I added white pigment powder directly to 1/2 of it without dispersing it in oil first. Clumped up like you wouldn't believe. I cut it expecting some seriously fugly soap. It's lovely! The layers are subtle, yet visible- and those white clumps add cool texture that passes for intentional looking. Scent is cedar/grapefruit/lavender, so understated and masculine works for it. Beyond thrilled.

Yay! I love rebatching soap. Sometimes it ends better than the original thought. You can do a hanger swirl with rebath, and add MP embeds too!

It looks and sounds wonderful. It's kind of funny. I see people add titanium dioxide direct in videos all the time, but I always get the spots too if I don't dilute it with oil.
