Can anyone recommend a scale that has a capacity over 20 lbs? I currently use the KD8000 and I really like it but I need a scale that can handle a little more weight. Thanks in advance.

I haven't. The company does have a good reputation though. That second scale is on my list for when I need to replace mine. I like the different features, especially that you can turn off the auto shut off and that it can operate on batteries or be plugged in. The second scale, (that I want, does not have auto shut off, which can be a pain. I would rather shut it off myself. )

soapequipment is what i have in my research note , though i never bought from them . they are geared towards production making of handmade soap.
How much more weight are you looking for? If you need a little more, could you split your weighing and keep the 8000? If you only want a few kgs more, it might be a cheaper option.

I have been making 50 lbs. batches for a wholesale account. I am getting by with my current scale but a larger capacity would be nice.
