Hi all-

Anyone know of a good website with recommended use limits on things like EO's, oxides, etc.?
Each supplier I use offers them, but it would be nice to have one, bookmarked site that tells all.

Thanks!

EOs can vary between suppliers, best to check with the source, same for FOs.

Oxides will depend on what you want for your finished product.

Oh goodness, I just noticed you are selling soapmaking kits on your website but don't know 'basic' info like color & scent %.

That's just asking for trouble. I know it is your bizness, but I would take some giant steps backwards if I were you. No reason to court trouble.

IFRA has published guidelines - not laws mind you, but guidelines - but in some cases you will need to know the chemical components of the essential oils.

You may have better luck following the European or Canadian guidelines which set limits for certain EOs and key components. Because I'm a part of the US fragrance manufacturing industry I'm not well versed in those in particular but I'm sure we have a few here who can help you out.
This document is from 2001 http://ec.europa.eu/health/ph_risk/comm ... 150_en.pdf , but I'm sure there are more up to date ones available.
