I recieved a package containing butters and oils together in the mail. one of the oils leaked causing the labels came off the butters. I have 2 bags, both look the same but one is kokum and one is illipe. How do I distinguish between the two?

Kokum will have a more crumbly texture. Illipe often has a strong soapy smell to it and will be smoother. Kokum will feel more dry to the touch. HTH!

the sender should just refund you your money or replace the butters - don't muck about with IDing ingredients.
