Hi all, just curious, does anyone find the smell of it in bath bombs off putting? I cant stand it, going to have to go back to water

Well, I grew up with it. My grandmother would apply a witch hazel compress to our necks to cool us off in the summer. So for me, the answer is no. Although, I can see how it would.

You don't have to use water or witch Hazel. You can use melted cocoa butter to bind the ingredients in bath bombs. They come out hard as a rock.

I think witch hazel on skin smells like bacon.

I use melted shea butter as the binder. No witch hazel. They stay super hard.

I personally like the smell of witch hazel, but honestly can't smell it in my finished fizzies. But I do a mix/combo of witch hazel and 99% isopropyl alcohol.
