Just took advantage of this deal!
http://www.essentialdepot.com/servlet/the-5/32-lbs-Food-Grade/Detail

With a 15OFF promo code and shipping (to TX) I wound up paying $57.19. That means I paid $3.57/2 lb container (or $1.78/lb) . Not the greatest price out there, I'm sure, but 32 lbs of lye should keep me soaping for a while as at this point I'm only making soap for gifts for friends and family and for personal use.
And considering I've been buying my lye for $14/2 lb at Lowe's?? Yeah, this is a way better deal!

I will update with shipping time once I receive my stuff! :p

I have been looking at this same deal on Amazon.

5 of them with shipping to Mississippi would cost me 33.79 after shipping, coming out to ~$3.38 per pound. It's almost more than I think I need right now, but it would give me incentive to keep going. And as I mentioned elsewhere, the cheapest price I can get here is $8 or 9 a pound... $3.38 looks like I'm striking gold!
