Lard VS Tallow?

What is the difference? I know they are both animal fats, is there a difference or are the terms interchangeable?

Lard comes from pigs, tallow from beef.

Lard is rendered pig fat.
Tallow is rendered fat from any animal other than a pig.
No, the terms are not interchangeable.

Right, so tallow would include the fat from deer, bison, etc.

Question: you would use the term Tallow = for Beef Fat but is there another term for Lard = Pig Fat?

There's no other INCI name - it's just Lard.
