I just went to a thrift store by work and found this little ziploc bag filled with vintage craft stuff...like glitter in a glass jar, sequins, some beads...and the cool part... there was little bag that had some pearls in it. It looked like a necklace that had come apart or something. The whole bag of stuff was only $1.25! And I'll be able to make a nice little pearl necklace (or maybe bracelet) out of them.

Here's a scan from my scanner.

What have you found at a thirft store or garage sale?

i found a vintage tupperware container with squared off corners and perfectly straight on all sides, and in the exact dimensions of my bar size choice. it is the most perfect mold and makes about 10 bars.

i got it for 60 cents!!
