I had the flu this winter and spent time being miserable and watching utube. I watched videos on pincushions, beading, drilling wells and soaping. I then made decorative pins, pincushions, thread catcher but no well nor made my own lye.

One soap video was the benefit of pine tar soap for itchy skin. My dad and uncle have itchy skin so I thought I'd give it a try. First batch was small and unscented for a test run to make sure I understood the process. Second batch was the pine tar. A friend gave me some EOs. Third batch was made with almond oil, castor, oo, palm with A mix of the EOs on hand.

I was hooked. My skin feels better. Body butters mean my skin isn't dry. A lotion bar means my hands stopped hurting. Each new soap is my new favorite. More time is spent stroking, rubbing, and soaping. :)
