So, making a face cream. I like the idea of a "cream", but my first attempt felt extremely heavy, although it disappeared almost instantly with no greasiness. I know I need to drop my mango butter amount, but I also wonder if this can be helped with a particular emulsifier. I am thinking the BTMS was part of my problem as well.

Did you use BTMS? I love it, won't make cream, lotion or scrub without it.

Yeah, I used the BTMS. I really like it on my lotion, but thought my face cream seemed a bit heavy on my face. It absorbed nicely with no shine

I know I need to cut way back on my mango butter, but also wondered if there was something better for the face, especially for the summer, to keep it lighter feeling.

Will work on the less mango tonight and see what happens

Thx PB!

How about replacing part of the oil with aloe gel?

Interesting. This would be an oil replacement, not water replacement? What physical properties does it give?

LOL, my mom says all of her daughters are part pitbill
