Ants are eating my Papaya Soap... They crawl around muching and strange white
Little bits are left as they roam around.

Any suggestions are welcome.
I'm afraid to make the chocolate...
Can you imagine fighting ants off your soap?

I seriously didn't think this was possible..

Some mice decided to nibble a batch of bastille soap I made, grr! Thankfully the batch was already headed to the trash because half of it DOS'd anyway.

Perhaps you'll need to start storing all your soaps in something ant-proof - maybe a plastic Tupperware container with a desiccant to keep the bars from getting moist - or some kind of very fine mesh covering/bag.

I made a few more batches...
It seems when you make any soap
To heaven with anything such as a fruit...
Or anything a ant would love...
Your going to find your self in a world of craziness
.. why?
Because the amount your adding is too much.
Add less and it seems ok. Good enough for a store shelf.
Add to much and it will not survive 6 months or less.
More like 2-3 months and start rotting.
They didn't go after my other soaps..
Just that one.
I had fear real fast and was looking for spray!
I was like... Next Thought...
I don't want Bug spray on ma soap!
Icky...

So the key is stay around 120 grams or less
Per kilo of recipe.

of any type of thing a bug would eat.
Especially things that have natural sugars.
