I am trying to make a lotion that is not runny but not thick either. Here are the ingredients that I have on hand. Can someone help me figure out the correct percentages?

distilled water

Here is a link with a percentage calculator.

Look over one of the recipes and using the percentage calculator, figure the percentages of each ingredient they list, then use the same percentage of some of the ingredients you have on hand. You don't really need to combine several oils, I use one oil, some glycerine, some aloe vera gel and maybe some lanolin. Emulsifying wax will make the procedure much easier, but you can just use beeswax and borax to emulsify you lotion.

I would invest in some emulsifying wax if I were you. I did not like my beeswax/borax lotions at all, they were pretty greasy and gross to use and sometimes want to separate. emulsifying wax makes a huge, HUGE difference and is pretty inexpensive.

sorry I can't help more, I jumped off that train pretty quickly

Does the emulsifying wax take the place of both the borax and beeswax? Does it go in the oil phase?

I made the lotion with the ewax this morning and it was so much easier and not greasy. I love it. Thank you so very, very much for sharing all your recipes and advice. You wouldn't believe what my kitchen looks like :!:
