I've only made three small batches of soap to date and they all have been unscented. I would like to make a batch that is scented but I only have 1 small silicon loaf style mold. Would using EO's or FO's "contaminate" my silicon mold or does the scent wash out?

The scent washes out, even if you notice a bit left when using it again, it does not transfer into the next batch.
Needed less to say that you should not use that mold for food.

Thank you that is good to know!

I won't use the mold for food, although I think it is the perfect size for a small meatloaf!

The scent washes out. Whenever I have trouble with any remaining scent, I'll wash it like normal and then let it soak in water with about 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar and let it sit for an hour or so, then wash it again. Works like a charm.
