Has anyone been trying to coat their wood mold with sealing silicone?
I had my husband to make me a new wood mold that i can take easily into pieces completely and I am planning to try coating it with normal cheep silicone. Will it work ? Any ideas , tips, before I begin with the experiment?

Let me know how it went because i am planning on gluing silicone baking sheets to my wood mold.

Ultra-Ever Dry and NeverWet have a working temp of -30 to 300. I wonder if that would work??

I have seen wood soap molds for sale that have been treated with something so lining is not needed. I'm not sure what that something is though.
