So, I know this can happen when using too much mica, but...I did a batch with less than 1 tsp PPO and I am getting colored lather. I'm confused as to how much I should be using...is each mica different? Are some colors/brands more prone to this?

I've found color bleeding to be a very individual thing from mica to mica. Some do very well @ 1 tsp. ppo, but others need to be added with a lighter hand. Red micas are like that for me. At 1 tsp. ppo, I end up with 'Psycho' shower syndrome. But just a smidge or 2 added to a portion of my batter for a swirl gives me beautiful, red swirls, but white lather.
