We have a ton of acorns this year, which means a buffet for the wood ducks. There were about 20 yesterday.

Fun - we had a ton of wild turkeys this year. Really fun to watch them hang with the chickens.
A big thrill for us was sandhill cranes nesting (or at least raising their chick) in the pasture next to our house. Their trumpet is one of the few alarm clocks that doesn't irritate me!
We also saw two young mountain lions just down the road one night - totally awesome!
