My husband had some used Shot Gun Shells so last year I made him some candles out of them for his Christmas present.

What about the plastic casing? Won' that be a problem or will you remove that? (Cool idea, though!)

You can cut a slit down the plastic with a razor knife and around the base of the brass and then pill the plastic off then place them is jar. I have burn them with the plastic on but they have to be straight or or it burns the plastic.
