Ok I have tried pouring at the temp suggested by the manufacturer which lead to some UGLY candles. So I went on candle science website and read reviews and people are pouring anywhere from 120 to 170 degrees and getting "perfect" candles. Every once in awhile I will get and odd one that is perfect. I have tried pouring at 140, 150, 160, 170. What temp works the best? I am not to concerned about frosting but I would like smooth tops. I have also tried smoothing them out with a heat gun which just leads to a weird bumpy surface
