Shea Butter Question?

I would say it is fine. I freeze my extra shea butter and it works fine in soap. You might want to temper it for lotion or cream.
 
I have a tub of refined high melt shea butter a little over a year old that I keep in my fridge that has developed the same kind of 'bloom' on it. For what it's worth, I have been using it in my personal lip balms and body butters without any issues.

Is it possible to rejuvenate some old Shea butter? Somehow clean it to get the old aroma out of it?
 
I have a similar question except mine is about cocoa butter.
I have a big batch melted in a melter right now but I’m wondering if this
Is this ok?
Can bacteria grow and ruin it?
It’s left heated for 40 degrees should it be around hotter?
