I have been working on my layers in MP and I spray the first layer liberally with alcohol before the 2nd pour. But I feel like I can still smell alcohol when I take them from the mold. Should I let them sit overnight?
When does the alcohol smell go away?

I usually let mine set overnight before disturbing them. Yes, the alcohol smell disappears after a while. I usually don't smell it after a few hours.

I have experimented with various % of alcohol as well and did find a difference between 70+% and 91%. Though a little harder to find; (Target, Dollar Store and Walgreens) keep regularly in stock, I have found best results with the 91%.
