Hi !

Looking to make a body wash or gel.
Does anyone have a recipe for a milk and or honey body wash?:)

Are you looking to make a liquid soap using potassium hydroxide (KOH) and fats? If so, you're in the right place. You can make a good liquid soap with the advice given in the following threads and then just call it what you want.

Irish Lass: http://www.soapmakingforum.com/showthread.php?p=428988 see posts 8 and 9

Another good resource is this:

Speaking in general, liquid soap is generally thinner than what most people want as a "bath gel". For those wanting a thicker gel texture, they will most likely have to add a separate thickener -- two names are HEC and HPMC. Faith has some good tutorials on these and other thickeners: http://alaiynab.blogspot.com/search/label/tutorial

If you want a cleanser made with synthetic detergents, you may not find as many resources here, but I know there are a few people who make this type of product. Also, you can visit Susan at Swiftcraftymonkey for good advice and recipes. See http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.ca/
