what is the best way to find lye

hi everybody i am very new to making soap and i wanted to start making my soaps with lye but i cannot find any locally in my town brampton ontario any major hardware stores that could find it in if not which would be the best way to buy lye :wink

I saw online that www.canwax.com has it and Home Hardware has it in their stores. Im in the US but I did a little internet searching. HTH! just google it if you need to youll find info!
