Hi I have been making cold processed soaps for about 8 years for my family and friends. Normally I make goat milk soap to use up the excess milk in my refrigerator, but have been experimenting with liquids other than water (so boring) and m&p embeds.

Soap looking like food has been my latest interest as I really enjoy piping the whipped soap. Which led to my joining this forum as I have been unable to locate a silicone slab mold that will cut evenly into nice 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 soap about 1 inch thick before decorating the top. All the molds I have found cut into 3 x 2 soaps which are too small to decorate or hold comfortably in ones hand.

I have no interest in selling soap but love to clip pictures and keep recipes and have an entire onenote book dedicated to soap and body products. I love being inspired by all the creative people on the internet.

I was looking for a slab mold that would make that size as well. This was the only one I found:

I don't have it, and I asked them about using it for CPOP which they didn't recommend. It looks like it is out of stock right now anyway.

You could look at some people who make molds and sell on etsy. Most have an option for something custom made, although I don't know how expensive that would be.

Thanks for the website, it is a shame they are all out of stock. You would think more people would sell that size in a silicone mold with or without the dividers. I hadn't thought of looking for an Etsy store to have a custom mold made but I will do that tonight. Thanks for the response, it gave me a lot of possibilities.

Just think twice about buying their Guided Soap Cutter as shown here:

Since the cutting slot accommodates both the straight cutter and the wavy cutter, my soaps come out at widely varying weights -- cuz the slot has too much wiggle room for the straight cutter. I wrote them about this and got no response. As a result, I don't buy anything from them any more.

There is a forum member...plowboyzwoodshop that makes cutters. I bet he would be willing to make a custom mold, especially if there were more than one person willing to buy them.
