Saponifier
I love hemp seed oil. I have some in the fridge that's 9 month's old, perfectly fine and not a sign of degrading. I use it to make LS and salve for a friend with psoriasis. When I bought it, I was told that it has a shelf life of 1 year. Now I just learned that it's prone to rancidity, but I'm wondering if ...
(1) Adding antioxidants like vitamin E and ROE might prevent it from going rancid?
(2) Once soaped, using a balanced formula and SoapCalc default numbers, wouldn't that stop it from degrading?
TIA
