Hi!

I was considering using lanolin in a solid lotion bar but was wondering if anyone has already done that and if they liked the final product, etc. Just a lot of money to invest if so wanted some feedback on how it has worked for you.

THe lotion bar recipe I use now has cocoa butter, shea and grapeseed oil. was thinking of just adding it along with these others.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

I don't make lotion bars any more, but I adore lanolin in lip balm. It just adds so much! I would start out with say 5%, then keep adding until you find the magic amount.

I have used lanolin in my solid lotion and they did not sell as well as my avocado oil solid lotions. I could not use it due to allergies to wool. My daughter did not like them as well as my avocado oil solid lotions. If you decide to use it in lotion I would not use it in all lotion bars due to possible wool allergies.
