I have a batch of HP where I made the mistake of using too much castor oil, and it still is rather soft after many weeks. Is it possible it will still harden? If not, what benefit would rebatching have? There will still be the same amount of castor after I melt it back down. Can something be added at rebatch to help harden it?

Thanks!

When I accidentally put too much of an oil or whatever in it, I make a new batch. But when I make the new batch, I don't add the castor oil, I calculate the recipe with it in, but I leave it out while making it. Instead I cut up the "mistake" soap and add that to it.
