Third year anniversary!

Well today is my three year anniversary of making soap.I remember that first batch of 100% olive oil with coconut milk as the liquid. I still have a bar kicking around...
I just want to say and thank you ALL for the most valuable source of information available to me. It's an odd day that I don't glean a tidbit of information from this website. So much knowledge, so much sharing,patience above and beyond...again, a million thanks!

Happy soapy anniversary!

Until last year, I'd been making my one batch of Christmas soap for close to a decade. Using a Brambleberry recipe and buying all my oils and lye from them too ($$$).

Since joining the forum, I've completely immersed myself in learning everything I can about soapmaking and did a total 180. The things I learned here have TOTALLY changed the way I make soap (and how often I make it, lol). Such a great community.

Isn't it amazing how your recipes can progress in 3 yrs especially with all the help and experimenting this forum community does...
