I have played and played with the soap calc. I am looking for something that moisturizes like my dove bar did before I looked into chemicals.

I have palm, coconut, olive Ev, sun flower, coco, and shea.

I don't think any soap is going to moisturize. Some oils are have more conditioning qualities than others. All the oils you have listed should make a good bar of soap.
I came up with this combination using SoapCalc. If you add 1 Tablespoon of sugar per lb. of oils to the liquid and dissolve before adding the lye, you will get more bubbles with this combination.
10% Sunflower
20% Coconut
40% Olive EV
20% Palm
10% Shea

Dove contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine & Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate which are detergents. The only conditioning ingredient listed is tallow.
Here is a link with the ingredients:

That looks like a nice recipe!

I also superfat at 8-10% as my skin tends towards dryness. The 5% isn't enough for me.

Thank you for your replies

Maybe I'm using moisturizer wrong

I have dry skin after using homemade soap.

Should I do 8 or 10 % superfat.

Can I add the extra oil after if its not enough.

I would set the superfat to 10% and try a small batch to see how you like it. I would be hesitant to add oils without figuring them in with the other oils.
