Not sure where to post this.

For soaping and candle making do I need to buy all new equipment. I have read about using crock pots, presto pots, measuring cups and utensils and all the other equipment you need to make thse products. My question is all of these products need to be seperate from what you use for cooking right? And do you need seperate stuff for candles and seperate stuff for soaps.

Haunt garage sales and $1 stores. Walmart is great for cheap plastic bowls and measuring cups. I use a $1.99 plastic pitcher for lye that was 50% off at Wallyworld. Bought 'em out. Beware of discount stainless steel, though. Sometimes it's just a coating or something and wears off with soapmaking. Not good.

I agree with the above.

All seperate equipments is needed. Too many errors or cross contaimination can happen if otherwise.

Thrift shops like Salvation army, Wal-Mart, and garage sales are
truly amazing places to shop for equipment.

also if you have a Brandsmart around you, they have digital scales for $16 that do pounds, oz and grams.
