I use Lanolin all the time and there really is now way to eliminate it. I use EO's & FO's to blend in and change the scent to something a little more pleasant....
Lanolin adds amazing properties to anything you use it in - including soap - but you don't need a lot to get an amazing product. This is one of those ingredients of "less is more"...

I use a little in my lip balms. It is great and it does stink.

Really?!? I got some from WSP...and made lip balm. I don't remember it having a bad smell...I'll go home and sniff, but I remember someone telling me their mom used it when they were groing up and it was stinky...
But I swear...I don't remember it smelling when I used it.
