Hey all,

I don't post very often on here, and I am usually in the soap section. I recently purchased all the supplies from an estate candle making business.....lots and lots and lots of goodies to play with. I am wanting to make all kinds of candles and and pretty darn near have just about everything to do so. I am learning about wicks and waxes and stuff. There are some boxes of soy wax, some kind of unmarked parffin wax, and some bags of palm wax flakes. I don't have a clue as to what any of those are for. But I have seen some hand dipped candles made out of left over melted wax. I was wondering what kind of wax you need to use to do this. Oh, and I also purchased a case of pariffin blend votive wax, and another parffin blend for tarts etc.

thanks for your input.

Sheryl

Paraffin works best for hand dipped candles. It sticks better than palm or soy.
