I have been making candles and want to approach a couple of local shops to sell my candles.
Has anyone done this and how successful has it been? I am assuming that there are a number of different distribution options (they buy at wholesale or they have them on consigment, or they take a percentage etc.) but have no idea what they are, nor what the potential traps might be for me, with each one.
Can you please advise what you think is the best option both for myself and also for the store owner. Of course, any advice on pitfalls to watch out for would be most appreciated.
