I'm seeking a new stick blender, and won't be buying another Cuisinart. My Cuisinart CSB-76 has stripped gears, motor spins, buy the blade doesn't. So I trashed it. Has anyone used the Waring brand? If anyone owns the Waring WSB33 Quik Stik Blender I had a few questions.
1) Does this blender come apart or is it one piece?
2) Do you know if the interior gears are metal, not plastic? I couldn't find this on their website. I found it on http://www.webstaurantstore.com/war...andard-duty-immersion-blender-7/929WSB33.html
I would have done a live chat with them, but live chat wasn't available at this time.

Please share your experience with this stick blender model.
Thanks.

I have a Proctor-silex one I ordered off of Amazon that has done me well so far. All one piece, was pretty cheap, but I like it.

My husband has a nice Kitchenaid one, comes in two pieces, easy to fit in a drawer, heavy duty cord. I'll probably steal it from him when mine dies since he only uses it for bisques, which he makes maybe twice a year.
