Hi, I will be helping with a kids craft next month. We will be making fruit slices of M&P and I am having some trouble with the kiwi. I have been embeding a white center and pouring fairly hot clear/colored soap over it so it melts a bit. Then I am trying to use a toothpick to drag some of the lines like you see in a kiwi. (Bring some of the slightly melted white center into the clear) Then I add seeds. not working great. Lines are not very sharp.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Have you tried squirting a little dot of white on the clear, instead of the other way around. Then using the toothpick to drag the lines.

Yes, that made too much of an indefinit center for me. First I tried with a spoon, and then with a squirt bottle. too much of the white came along. But you are right that the white went through the clear easier. Maybe if I dipped a toothpick into a cup of white to draw the lines.
