Dear soap makers,
My new recipe for a shampoo bar soap did not turn out at all. 24 hours after being molded, half of it is gooey and the other half of it is solid and it is a bog green color. I am not sure if I should wait and see if it will harden (perhaps I used too much liquid oils), or if I need to rebatch it (if the soap separated on me). Here is the recipe I used:

I used half and half water and coconut milk with the addition of 3 tempered egg yolks and 1 tsp of honey. I wanted to avoid Palm oil because I read that it can leave a waxy residue, and I super fattened the batch to 7%. The recipe was fragrance free.
Do I wait some more to see if it hardens or should I rebatch?
Many thanks,
Silver

I would rebatch, it sounds like it partially separated. The green color is from the egg, it will fade a bit in time.
