Dark discoloration design

I am in the middle of planning a batch designed around an FO that will have "dark discoloration." As I ponder all of my design options, I wondered what other people do. So, do you have a favorite way of designing around your dark FOs?

Black with coloured frosting or other contrast elements.

I like to separate out some of the batch and color with neons or just bright colors for swirls and keep some uncolored. Then I add in the fo to the balance of the batter. One other I do is vary the amounts of fo in separated batter

I separate the batter for coloring too. Here is a link to the entry thread for a discoloring fragrance oil challenge that was done here. Lots of pretty soaps using discoloring FOs.
