From Left to right

NG Patchouli colored with Mica, Rouge Flambe and swirled with Black Oxide.

NG Hummingbird, colored with Mica, Blushing Pink Violet and swirled with Manganese Oxide.

NG Tahitian Waterfall colored with mica, Canary Yellow and swirled with Ultra Marine Blue Oxide.

I put glitter on each batch then sprayed with alchahol to prevent ash. Big mistake. It turned the hummingbird manganese oxide (which a lilac color) a brownish. I will probably cut that off...

They look amazing!

Are you sure it was the alcohol spritz that changed the colour? So far I've never had a problem and I use it on every batch.

Most sites selling manganese violet have a warning not to use it in cp soap because it morphs to brown.

I am new to mica and oxides so I didn't know about the warnings.

The whole top is Manganese Oxide and the only part that turned a brownish is where the glitter was. The rest of it is light pink so it did loose it's purple color.

Each soap had glitter on them and none of the glitter stayed glittery after spraying with alcohol.
