I am not even sure if Wool Wash Bar soap is a cold process bar or a m&p...

I have heard the use of 20%-30% lanolin. I need someone to nudge me in the right direction so I can formulate one to put in super cute sheep molds (not that it hasn't been done, but its something 'I' want to do).

I'm putting this in the m&p forum too, just in case.

Thanks Everyone!

What I'm seeing when I do a search is 30 - 40% Lanolin in a CP bar. The balance of the ingredients seem to run the full range of preferred oils....

HTH

you must have the 'google' skillz, Lindy lol.

I've searched too but I guess what I'm most concerned about is the superfatting percentage? Is lanolin a saponifiable?...is saponifiable even a word? HAHA!

Lanolin is a saponifiable - go to any of the lye calculators and you will find Lanolin in the oil list..... I wouldn't go over 3% because you want for cleaning wool and you don't want a lot of oils left free in the soap, but still do want some.
