Does anyone know a place that has a sampler of non-mica colorants? Something like small amounts of a basic eight colors?

All I want to do is color a little liquid soap, but these things are so concentrated and expensive that even a limited pallet would cost $75 and last me a lifetime.

Is there nowhere I can spend maybe $20 and just get enough to play around with?

Craft stores like michaels or hobby lobby carry some liquid soap colors meant for melt and pour. I don't make liquid soap so I don't know if it would work for that.

Rustic Escentuals sells gel colors by the half ounce. Again, don't know about liquid soap. Maybe just get red or pink, blue and yellow, and mix from those lab colors.

Yes! TKB Trading has both a liquid lake and powder lake sampler. I bought the liquid lakes. I think they might have a dye sampler too.

I use lakes, mix them well with a bit of water then add to solution, lakes are pretty cheap. I use them in jelly soap too
