It is amazing how people will ignore labels. When my daughter had her other part of the Company under the Name Marshmallow Soap Company a lady gave her child a "Marshmallow", to eat. The soaps were in a Cosmetic Sample box that she opened while driving and handed it back to her child. When she got home after
he hurled it back to her she called us swearing, yelling and threatening us with a lawsuit. My daughter informed her the label stated "Soap Do Not Eat," and asked her why she would not read a label before giving her child anything to eat. We never heard back. But without the word "Soap" we probably would have had a lawsuit. These fantastic little soaps did look and feel just like homemade marshmallows.
So yes, all my soap labels contain the word Handmade Soap within the label graphics with a white space to type or write in the fragrance. Keep in mind you cannot include ingredients within the soap name. I do not remember that exact wording of the rules, so you would have to look it up. So when I label the Soap Fragrance goes on one line and below I will add with oats, aloe etc. I interpreted that by adding the word with it would work, but who knows.
