Ive made a lavender soap. We used Lavender EO and the ground up pods. I was wondering, if we need to actually use both of them. Ive noticed that the grounds are smelling up my whole closet by them selves. Will just putting that in the soap alone be enough or do we need to put a EO in it also? thanks

The scent from the ground up pods won't scent your soap at all.
I use ground lavender powder and lavender EO in soaps all the time, it does help to make the scent last, and adds a little exfoliation to the bar.
I ground up some lavender buds, and then sifted them. I used the superfine grounds to make a pencil line, and the bits that didn't fall through the sifter I mixed with the lavender EO before mixing into the HP soap. They seemed to help fix the fragrance and by grinding them I avoided the mouse poop in my soap look. Ill probably do it again that way, people really liked it.
