I made a batch and wanted a darker thin line between my two layers. I had been using vanilla specks as it didn't affect the colour but it wasn't dark enough for what I wanted. I tried the black oxide in a shake jar with nylon on the top but now I think i may end up with black suds has anyone tried this or can recommend something different to use? Maybe charcoal but I am scared that when I cut the log that the colour will run through the soap..

Iwas reading somewhere the tip to put your soap on his side when you want to cut it. In that way you don't drag it down, but just push it down on the line you already want to achieve.
