Hi Everyone! I thought I would start a post in hopes that maybe someone has a good liquid laundry soap recipe. I have looked on the net a bit and have found some that look okay but was interested in knowing what some of you use. I want it to be as biodegradable and eco-friendly/people safe...

    Bubble bars Rose

Health food stores or places like Bulk Barn that sell stuff in large quantities have it much cheaper than buying the actual product in a box. I think I paid 0.17$ per 100G.

    liquid soap

I would be really interested in knowing this as well. I have read on-line through research that one pound of shredded soap and 1 gallon of water warmed until everything is melted makes a good liquid soap. I can' answer you on the citric acid though.

I presume the SLS is Sodium, Lauryl Sulfate, is there someway to avoid this in the recipe or alternate it with another ingredient?

    Shampoo recipe.

I've done lots of research on-line and I really didn't want to go with the baking soad/ACV rinse, it's just not for me. I wanted a good recipe for shampoo, my hair gets washed daily and I don't think I'd go any other way. I don't have a dry scalp now, never have and don't want to start. I...

    Shampoo Bar - Thanks Lindy!!

Do you think you can Hot Process this recipe? Also, I have oily, curly and on humid days prizzy hair. Do you recommend any oils to use specifically for my hair type? I rarely have to use regular conditioner with store bought shampoo.

    Shampoo recipe.

No, I don't have hard water. I live in the city and have city water. I work in a pool store and have tested so much water. My water has a high PH with low Alkalinity and Calcium, there is virtually no minerals in the water.

I'm a newbie too and didn't have this issue. I have made two bathes of soap so far but was extremely careful. I first found the recipe, ran it though soapcal to make sure it was okay and then made sure my oils and lye solution were the same temperature. It was 100 degrees but from what I have...

    Basic Face Bar recipe

Growing up I never had acne, not in my teens. But, when I was in my mid twenties I started getting acne, the only thing that would cure it for me was a cream and that did help. I didn't like all the chemicals in it so switched to birth control. I am now 31 and have stopped the birth control and...

    Newbie here.

I have an abundance of coconut oil and now it is especially cheap at Costco so will try to find recipes that use that more than any other item. It is so funny that you gave me that link. That is one of the first places I began reading about soap making. I found it so informative. Thanks for...
