Health food stores or places like Bulk Barn that sell stuff in large quantities have it much cheaper than buying the actual product in a box. I think I paid 0.17$ per 100G.

I would be really interested in knowing this as well. I have read on-line through research that one pound of shredded soap and 1 gallon of water warmed until everything is melted makes a good liquid soap. I can' answer you on the citric acid though.

I presume the SLS is Sodium, Lauryl Sulfate, is there someway to avoid this in the recipe or alternate it with another ingredient?
