    SMP3 Soapmaking Software Program Question

    Does anyone else love the SMP software program except when it comes to filing USA year-end Tax returns for Schedule C? I find it difficult to align the software's line up to easily fill out schedule C for USA Income tax returns.

    After 13 years of soaping my main sewer line is plugged and the plumber is on his way!!!

    After 13 years of soaping my main sewer line is plugged and plumber is here! I'm positive it's due to my washing out my pot and utensils after making a batch in order to make another batch, rather than waiting until the next day 😣 Wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation too...

    My First Time Using Melt & Pour

    I just cut my first M & P soap bars and they feel rather sticky! :-( Is this common? I used Stephenson SLS Free Crystal Soap Base. Any input & suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TY

    Pomace Oil vs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil?

    I am considering switching from Extra Virgin Olive Oil to Pumace Oil which is a less filtered Olive Oil and used for soap making. Please comment if you've switched or are currently using the pumace oil. It is less costly then Virgin Olive Oil which is why I'm considering the switch. :idea:

    Room Temp Method

    Has anyone tried making soap by the room temp method? It is where rather than heating the oils you simply pour the lye solution into the palm and coconut oils and allow the lye to melt them then add the olive oil. Just wondering if the final product is as good.

    HELP...can't figure out the problem!

    I've noticed every now and then I get batches of perfect soap that end up with crunchy white specs that are a bit scratchy. Now, these are NOT made to be exfoliate bars. They all have palm, coconut and olive oil and either shea or castor oil, but I've noticed an occasional lip balm also turns...
