    Is this too much tea tree e/o for my recipe?

    I want to make a new face soap recipe which will be 2 lbs total for oils. here is the recipe: OO- 75% Castor- 5% CO 76 deg- 20% .7 oz lavender .8 oz tea tree I'm wondering if my recipe has too much tea tree (the tea tree i have seems very strong!) suggestions? thank you

    Using fresh buttermilk as the liquid

    Question about Salt Soap

    I am fairly new to soaping and I keep hearing everyone talk about salt soaps. What is the benefit of making salt soap. I have heard they're using sea salt. can someone enlighten me, maybe I will add salt to my soap too! :) thanks for reading
