@KiwiMoose, what superfat% do you and hubby prefer? I have it at 5% but thinking it may be a little too drying. Thinking of trying maybe 8%? I've heard a rule of thumb is to use a superfat of half of the cleansing number. That would be 10% superfat? Do you think that'd be too high? I'm...

Thanks didn't even think of that. I just cut a piece out of the can I used and dissected it. It's definitely "silver" looking on the inside. There is a thin plastic layer, almost like plastic wrap consistency, over this silver paper or whatever it is. That being the case, it doesn't look...

Thanks! That's Awesome. I just did another small batch using the same Pringle's can with no parchment paper liner. It came out just fine after leaving in freezer for 30 mins. I am going to get some pvc however. 😊

First attempt at a Pringles can pour. I got 7 pieces around 1.25" x 3". Weights range between 4.5-5 oz each (hand-cut). Colors: Green- green nettle leaf powder Red- rhubarb powder White- natural color Scent: Trailhead (Essential Oils of Bergamot, Patchouli, Cedarwood)

On my "new to soap-making" journey, I'm now trying a couple small batches with around 83% oat milk as a water replacement. Curious to see any differences between just using water. Does anyone here prefer adding their oatmilk, almond milk, to their oil as opposed to the lye solution? If so...

Here is the cut. It wasn't what I was going for, but I do like it! The gray/blue should continue to lighten a bit to a more light blue. We shall see. Thanks for looking!
