maybe you can try to dilute the clay in more water before adding to traced soap, with green clay I put some water, then add the clay to the water, and I don't care if it's runny, only makes it easier to mix with soap
I've seen/ did more messing around with soaps without lufah so I don't mind the extra trouble, also when I didn't do it and left bigger pieces of lufah- the cuts never came out the way I wanted them and since I'm a perfectionist I prefer my system :-)
I do LOTS of lufah soaps they are a big hit, I pre-cut the lufah to soap size pieces otherwise it's hell to cut, then I pour small amount of soap in the mold, arrange the lufah pieces (on the soap "glue") and pour the rest of the soap on every lufah piece to make sure the little lufah holes will...
dead sea mud is a little exofiliating because these are sand molecules really
the soap is amazinglly theraputic and many people like it alot
also I would not recommed HPing it EVER, it was a horrible expirience for me

I would not start with castile since it is tricker to make, you need some extra info to start with OO only
also it is a long time to trace and a very thin one when it finally shows, which is tricky.
NaHCO3- baking soda, bread soda, cooking soda, and bicarbonate of soda...
it is not messy, you put the powder- it sticks to your body and ELIMINATE all sweat smell, cheap, fantastic, you can see/ feel yourself sweating normally but no smell
ylang ylang is very sour to most people's taste and also geranium is bitter- it is good as anchor for other smells but it is not sweet and light as many preffer...
patchuli is sweet to most people taste and it is long lasting in soap
for sweet light smells I'd go for whatever everyone...
these oils are also sold diluted because of their high price and high conentration in original form- they smell strong even when diluted so. I was just wondering if anyone tried soaping with it? I know it's much less then usuall amount, but maybe they are strong enough to overcome it.
soda powder is the BEST deodorant, it stops the smell INSTANTLY

it needs even longer then the 4 weeks to be really mild
