One batch down, couple of questions! (using beer hops?)

Hello, I made my first batch this month and it is curing well (I think). Just that there is a dew layer on the soap. Once there were tiny droplets visible, but now it's just a uniform dewy layer. I live in a super humid climate. I have read about this phenomenon but I am confused about how to...

Recipe suggestions for a Beer Soap using my Amber Ale Homebrew

Thanks. Yes I was using SoapCalc. I did read a bit on the saponification values. But I will do some more digging and verify whether the recipe i've made will actually end up making soap.

Recipe suggestions for a Beer Soap using my Amber Ale Homebrew

I have opted for 33% lye concentration with 3% EO concentration. You think this is in the safe range? I am not sure about the proportions of the three EOs though. Looks like I'll proper wing it this time and pray for a good result.

Recipe suggestions for a Beer Soap using my Amber Ale Homebrew

Understood. Honestly that's not the case. I only asked that question because all the recipes and videos I have seen to this point used 100% beer. So just wanted to understand from you the merits of using water with the beer. I guess I have got your point now. Got it. I'll start with water...

Recipe suggestions for a Beer Soap using my Amber Ale Homebrew

I will boil the beer. But why do I need salt? All the videos and tutorials I have seen so far require boiling the beer as is. Can't I use 100% beer in place of water? The recipe I am using calls for that. I really want to try with beer. What are the main reasons why you would suggest starting...
