Does anyone have a good source for Natrasorb?

Everywhere I've checked, shipping is the deal breaker - often costing more than the actual product.

    Frustration near New Orleans

I've seen those coffins as well and they show as 'available' in our local store. I was going to go check them out tomorrow and depending on how cute they are/the amount and selection available, I may order a case to pick up at the store. I don't know what Dollar Tree charges for shipping, but we...

    Activated charcoal woes...

When I make a solid black soap I use (ppo) 1/2 tsp AC and 1/4 tsp Wicked mica from Mad Micas. It makes a lovely rich black soap with minimal grey lather. If I just want black as an accent color, I use Wicked by itself. It's seriously the best black mica I've ever used.

Having a hard time choosing Halloween Scents

I sometimes do a line of Halloween soaps based on the old spooky cereals from my childhood - Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Boo Berry, etc. - and those always sell well.

    Cats

The kitty in my avatar is my little monkey Minou. His origin story is on my website (since my company is named after him) along with more pictures, but I'm not sure if we're allowed to share that here. My family used to tease me that my best friend in the world was a little grey cat :) He was...

    Secret to glossy soap tops?

@Kari Howie After you steam the soap, let it sit until dry to the touch before cutting. I use the eco-friendly glitter from The Good Glitter, so I wait to add the glitter until after I steam the soap. I add the bling while the soap is still slightly wet to keep it popping instead of dissolving...

    Secret to glossy soap tops?

Yep, a handheld steamer across the tops before I take them out of the molds. Learned that trick from Ellen Ruth on YouTube!

    Paper packaging

@AliOop I bought my Cricut new about 7 years ago for the sole purpose of creating pretty designs for signature Krewe throws at Mardi Gras, I've abused that poor thing over the years and yet it's still going strong!

    Paper packaging

    Maybe this would help?

Hey. I'm Josh. It's starting to get "real".

Hi Josh! While Zing has a point about colors (and they can certainly affect trace), I too like some color in my soaps! For 1-stop shopping to save on shipping, I would recommend Nurture for both fragrance oils and micas. I actually slightly prefer Mad Micas colorants but they are very similar...

Trying to decrease cost of Vegan/Palm-free, soap.

You can also make a 100% coconut oil soap with a 20% superfat that's not drying at all and makes a hard bar of really nice soap.

Ok Cricut peeps... bring on the enabling

I have a Cricut that I originally bought for creating designs for my signature Krewe throws for Mardi Gras. I have used it occasionally for signage/display items for my soap business, but honestly it's just too fiddly and time-consuming to be efficient for me per labels or packaging. I have a FT...
