    Reed Diffusers

Just this weekend I started back creating and I was making a room spray. I mixed equal parts polysorbate 20 and FO, mixed with 8 oz water and it still separated as if I didn't have any polysorbate 20 in it. Any suggestion on what went wrong?

Opinions on Candles and Supplies scents?

I've used them for YEARS, like 10 years. And like any company they have their good ones I like, and some that do not smell so good. I found for me, Ijust have to order samples from different places and try them out. It's expensive, but when you find a good fragrance oil it's worth it. My...

    Sorbitol in m&p

I’ve been reading this section on melt and pour soap. I’m wanting a good moisturizing melt and pour soap base. Than I read where some thin they are all the same that Shea or goats milk is just a selling point. I read where someone mentioned adding sorbitol to help as a moisturizer in soap...

    Why is my balm gritty?

How long do you temper it? And I am guessing “temper” means leaving it on the stove and keep it heating?

    Gritty shea butter

I have some organic Shea butter. I melted it down, added a little avocado oil and a few drops of essential. I blended it really well with my electric stick blender but it’s still so gritty. Not Smith at all. I wanting to make a solid lotion bar and use this shea butter but I don’t want it to...

    "Musky" essential oil blend?

Where do you prefer to get patchouli essential oil? I’m a patchouli-woodsy person too. I’ve tried several different suppliers, but I’m looking for a great patchouli EO.
